If you're anything like me, it will be hard to contain fanboy/girl squealing after reading the news that Battlefront III is going to be making an appearance at this years E3 conference.
According to CEO Andrew Wilson "Battlefront will be among the games EA shows off at E3 in June, but whether it will be playable or simply seen in video form was not revealed." -Gamespot
"EA signed a deal last year with Disney to create "core" Star Wars games. The developer of Dead Space, Visceral is currently at work on a new reportedly open-world Star Wars game, which is being written by former Uncharted writer Amy Henning. Meanwhile, DICE has been tasked with developing Battlefront."
EA's E3 conference is scheduled for Monday, June 9th. It is not known whether the gameplay will be seen here or at a console conference. And for those of you keeping tabs on what is and isn't canon, the new Battlefront III story will be considered canon, as will anything Star Wars released from this point on.
I am just excited to have a new Battlefront game, hopefully its just as good as the first two.
