If Sony destroying the competition at this year's E3 wasn't enough to put a PS4 on your wishlist, this will.
After seven years and five "not-sequels", Sony finally announced Kingdom Hearts 3, a game that fans have long been waiting for.
Check out the trailer here.
At this point, no release date has been announced. It was only confirmed that the game was in development for Playstation 4 and Xbox One, which is odd considering that Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2 were Playstation exclusive.
For those who don't know, Kingdom Hearts is a game where the worlds of Final Fantasy and Disney combine in one of the most addictive and incredibly story driven games you could play, and every level (with some exceptions) has you diving into the worlds of Disney films, from The Little Mermaid, Mulan, Aladdin, and so many more.
If that trailer wasn't already enough to get you excited, think about this. Kingdom Hearts 2 came out in 2005. Since that time, Disney now has Pixar, Marvel AND Lucasfilm under their banner. The first game dealt mostly with the classic Disney films. The second game stepped out of the comfort zone by giving us the worlds of Pirates of the Caribbean and Tron. Could the third game go all out and give us The Avengers and Star Wars?!
Probably not, but I can dream, can't I?
