A report from USATODAY.com gives fans of Star Wars The Clone Wars some hope, after it's sudden and heartbreaking cancellation by sitting down with Supervising Director, Dave Filoni.
Filoni has this to say:
"There are questions that are pretty big as far as it comes with the Clone Wars and things that people have wanted to know," Filoni says. "They're just these concepts just hanging out there, and finally we're going to deal with them."
One of the stories mentioned is Jedi Master Plo Koon searching for a lost lightsaber in a sandstorm.
"The Jedi have been fighting a war with an army that was commissioned by one of their own, Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas," he says. "But who was Sifo-Dyas, and what happened to him? The dark lord of the Sith has woven an intricate web to ensnare the Jedi, but it is not full-proof and sometimes a small clue, and a bit of chance, can lead to the unraveling of the best-laid plans."

As someone who has watched this series from the beginning, I can agree with the statement that there are many questions still to be answered, and with the news of the cancellation, fear spread through Star Wars fandom that these questions would never be answered. It is good to see that we are getting the answers we have finally hoped for.
It has not been announced when or how these stories will make it to the public, but at least we now have confirmation that they will, in fact, be released.
Be sure to check out the first clip released from another story yet to be released, diving more into the Clone mindset and the soon-to-come Order 66.
